The following is a list of the field trips that we planned for the year 2016-2017:

  Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens

Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens is a sanctuary tucked away on the outskirts of Washington DC.  It is a beautiful place where there are many aquatic plants including lotus flowers and water lilies.

 May Day Baskets in Annapolis
 We strolled through Annapolis taking pictures of the wonderful basket arrangements of flowers.  It was a beautiful day and there was plenty to shoot.

  Library of Congress
 We ventured to the Library of Congress Jefferson Building to see all of the amazing artifacts that are housed there.  It has an amazing main hallway and many adjoining rooms on multiple floors.

 Longwood Gardens
 We visited Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square Pa. to see the Orchid Extravaganza and the Blue poppies.

 Blackwater Wildlife Refuge
The Blackwater Wildlife Refuge comprises a 26,000 square mile area of Maryland near Cambridge MD.  It was established in 1933 as a migratory stop for waterfowl.

 Baltimore National Aquarium
The Baltimore Aquarium is a wonderful place to spend a cold blustery day in January.  There are too many photo ops for one visit.

 Homestead Gardens
This is becoming an annual trip to go to the Homestead Gardens in Davidsonville MD to take pictures of the Holiday Cheer.

 Waterfowl Festival in Easton MD
The Waterfowl Festival is an extravaganza where they shut down the town to celebrate the abundance of waterfowl on the Eastern Shore.  There are many activities to visit including duck call competitions and dock dogs jumping.

 Historic Londontown
 Historic London Town and Gardens is a twenty-three acre park featuring history, archaeology, and horticulture on the South River in Edgewater, Maryland.
 September 2016 Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary Jug Bay is a Wetlands Sanctuary in the Chesapeake Bay area.  We went on a pontoon boat around the sanctuary in search of the elusive Sora Rail and came up wanting.  So we took pictures of anything else that flew, swam, or ran in front of our cameras.
