DPCA clarified the Bylaws that were passed last year by making some additional changes and refreshed the web site .
DPCA also accomplished the following: continued the practice of holding 15-minute member presentations called “Ego Alleys,” as well as 30-minute Long-Term Projects by members; held several tech talks; sponsored a swap meet for members; organized repeat exhibits at Gallery 333 and Ginger Cove and added exhibits at City Hall and the Hospice of the Chesapeake; and printed a membership directory. The Club also conducted field trips to Jug Bay, Historic London Town, Waterfowl Festival in Easton, Homestead Gardens, Baltimore National Aquarium, Blackwater Wildlife Refuge, Longwood Gardens, the Library of Congress; and the May Day Basket Competition in Annapolis. DPCA held 6 member Challenges and several Showcases, including three Showcases for beginners. Guest speakers ranged from photographers with a connection to the National Geographic and USAToday, a White House photographer, a photojournalist from the Capital Gazette, a Chesapeake Bay photographer, as well as photographers that specialize in flowers, travel and other topics.
